Joel 2:12"Therefore also now saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting and with weeping and with mourning:"
There is a feast prepared with the bread of heaven, we must gather all those we can, and bring them into the house of the Lord;and cry unto the lord" spare thy people O Lord and "Forgive us for we no not what we do. Let us come together, all the people, and hear what the Lord said; for the Lord says "Turn to me".
There are many going the wrong way, doing the wrong thing, following the wrong leaders, and traveling on the wrong road. Many on the broad road, yet Jesus said narrow is the way. God says turn, turn from our wicked ways, just turn and turn loose. Let go of the earthy and grab hold of the heavenly. Don't just turn your head giving the appearance of change, you know walking different but still going in the same direction. Let us turn our hearts with weeping and mourning, rent our hearts like it greatly grieves our souls to have sinned against God, rent our hearts, as we desire to never do it again. Rent our heart not our garments, make this an inward commitment and not an outward show. Rent our hearts, and turn to God with fasting and prayer, not the commitment of doing without meat for a day, but the commitment of doing without sin for a lifetime, as Jesus told the lady go and sin no more. Crucify the old man and his ways, walk in a newness of life.
Let us turn, and turn and fast, and fasten to him, and fasten on him, like Jacob holding on to the angel, and refusing to let go. We are blessed when we hold on to God. Grab on to him, hold to him with true devotion and loyalty, hold fast weeping for the wrong we have done to him, and the shame sin has brought to us, his beautiful bride. Hold on and wait for our change to come.

He Prayed For All
John 17:20 " Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their words;"
Here we have Jesus praying for future believers, those who will believe the message of the early disciples. This is very precious, as Jesus prays for you, and me, He prays for us for all who believe the truth of His message this day and the days to come. Just think for a moment, who is the weakest believer on earth today? Who is the strongest? Only God knows, but think of the fact that Jesus prayed for each and everyone of us.
The purpose of a perfected unity is so that the world may know that God sent Jesus into the world to save it. But we the believer most be one with one message, that we might save a lost world.

Just think for a moment, who is the weakest believer on earth today? Who is the strongest? Only God knows, but think of the fact that Jesus prayed for each and everyone of us.
He prayed that we be one, there must be unity among all believers, for we are one body having one head, lead in one mission, to proclaim only one message; Christ and Him crucified. The standard for unity is the oneness between Jesus and His Father. We are to be one as the Father and the Son are one. We are to have the very same unity one to another. Having one mind, one heart and of one spirit "One Lord, one Faith and one Baptism". God has one request of man, to believe on the only begotten of the Father, and he prays that we be unified in this message and the request. Jesus doesn't just pray that we be unified, but that we be perfected in unity, perfected as one body. Many have been lost, because the believers have not been unified enough to penetrate the world with the gospel. God is willing that all be saved, Jesus died that all have a right to the tree of life, but we the believer have failed to carry a unified message into a non-believing world, so Jesus prays that we be perfected as one body.
The purpose of a perfected unity is so that the world may know that God sent Jesus into the world to save it. But we the believer most be one with one message, that we might save a lost world.

Jesus Christ Is The Way
1 Corinthians 9:16b "Woe is unto me if I preach not the gospel"!
The gospel of Jesus Christ , the power of God unto salvation. But did you know it is the power of God for everything that man needs. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the message that will save man. In it lies the truth that will lead one in darkness into God's marvelous light. The gospel of Jesus Christ, from His birth, how He was born of a virgin, to His death, the perfect sacrifice for imperfect people, this is the power of God unto salvation.
He who knew no sin was made sin so we who was born of sin might be made free of sin. His death and shed blood as He died on a cross for the sin of the world. God's love given to man while we were yet without strength, ungodly, unholy, while we were sinners Christ died for us. Jesus was made a curse to free us from the curse. His resurrection, The new life we are given to live. How He rose on the third day morning with all power in His hands. The power for us to live a life pleasing unto God. The power for us to live a life that will lead others to the salvation of the Lord. Jesus the Christ and Him crucified the message that will convict and change a lost world.
With all the choices of religion before us, there is only one God; There are many bibles printed, but there is only one truth. We have the freedom to live any life, but there is only one life. And with the many roads we can travel there is only one way. Jesus Christ, the truth of Gods word, our eternal life and the only way to our heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is the way.

Don't Let Go
Genesis 32:26 " And He said let me go, for the day breaketh, and he said ,I will not let thee go except thou bless me".
This journey we have embarked upon is one of faith. We must be willing to rid ourselves of the old man and all he stood for and stood with, and surrender ourselves totally over to the will of God. We must walk out on the promise of God's word and trust in all that it says, knowing that He will do just what He said.
See the love of Jesus creates in our hearts, love one for another. When we have Him, He lives within our spirits, His mind is our mind, his will is our will, and he is seen by others in all that we do. But first we must find Him; to find Christ, one just needs to seek Him. The writer says "I found Him"; I a man, found the Lord of Glory; I a slave to sin, found the great deliverer; I a child of darkness, found the light of the world; I the uttermost of the lost ,found my Savior and my God. Now I hold Him; Holding Him by not offending Him. First by being lazy, when the soul turns sleepy or careless, we tend to put Christ away. By beholden to Idols, for you can't serve two masters, nor hold on to two things. By being unwilling to be sanctified, or dwelling in an unholy house, we must remember to take Christ home with us, and let Him rule the house. If you only walk with Christ at church and never take Him home, you will soon part company with him forever. So hold on to Him and share Him with all.
The true blessing come when we hold on to God, through all of the trials and storms that come upon us in life. So often the storms and trials themselves are blessings as anything that makes you call upon the name of the Lord is in fact a blessing.Don't let the lies of the devil cause you to let go of the promises of God, and miss out on your blessings. Hold on to Him , for the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. So pray without ceasing and watch God work in your life.

He Gave That We Might Have
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life".
When the world said we were not fit to live, God felt we were to precious to die, and he gave His only begotten Son. He didn't do it because we loved Him , but because He loved us . Let us now take this love we have been blessed to experience and share it with another, that all may come to know the goodness of the Lord. Let us love in spite of, and share with a lost world the a love given to all who will receive it.
God so loved the world, He loved the whole world. The ideal that God loves the world is a new idea. The Jews believed God loved the religious and hated the nonreligious. These same thoughts are held by many in every generation, especially by the religious community. The Fact that God so loves is shocking. He loves the saint and the sinner. God loves every man, not just those who love Him but also those who reject Him. He loves the unlovable, unloving, the unbelieving, the obstinate, the selfish, the greedy, the spiteful, and the vengeful. The basic of God Love is his nature, for God is love. He didn't just love, He so loved. He loved so much that he gave his only begotten Son. He gave not only all he had but the best that he had, like Abel offering the best of his fruits, like the woman with the two mites, giving all that she had. He gave His only Son to suffer judgment for my sins and yours. He gave His only son to be punished for our sins. God showed His love toward us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. He gave His only son to die for sinners. He did this so that we who rebelled against Him, we who cried with one voice "crucify Him and give us Barabbas, so that we the sinner might have eternal life with Him in heaven. He gave so that we might have, His Son died so that we might live.
He gave His all that we might have His all. God loves us , let us receive His love that we might fulfill His will and none shall perish..

Scapegoat
Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
When Jesus suffered and died on Calvary's cross, the sin of the entire world hung on his shoulders. This weight He carried, we are not designed to carry. Jesus suffered enormously so that we might be saved from "the sin that so easily entangles us" and be able to run the race he has set before us easier each day, that one day we might be with him in all his Glory.
Jesus allowed his flesh to be crushed, ripped, and torn. He suffered and died a gruesome death. He was the substitute who took our punishment, who paid for our crimes, that we might be made whole, that we might be made the righteousness of God. Through his suffering, we are blessed, through His death we have abundant life. It was our sins that pressed the crown of thorns on his head, our hatred that slapped him, and spit on him, our disobedience which mocks him. He was wounded for our transgressions, and died for our sins. It was by His bruises that healing was made available to all who will surrender their lives into the Masters hands. Jesus looked beyond all of our faults and he saw our need, and he supplied our every need.
Because of Jesus death, lost sinners can find their way back to the Heavenly Father again. Jesus, our mighty hero who poured out his life and his blood for us, and hung on a cross between two criminals, was no criminal himself. He was just our gentle Savior, who died for us, and now intercedes for us in Heaven. God now looks upon all who have truly committed their lives to Him, through lenses stained with the blood of Jesus Christ, and where there once stood a sinner, there now stands one washed in the blood of the Lamb

Show Your Love
John 14:15 " If you love me, keep my commandments".
We must love as God loves us. God showed kindness and love to all humanity regardless of how they treated him. He gave his only begotten son that we might have everlasting life. When we love others the way Jesus instructed us to, we show the world we are his and we show the love of God to a lost soul that they might receive everlasting life.
The heart is the seat of man's affections, and devotion. The heart attaches and focuses our affection, will, and devotion to an object or person. The heart causes a man to will, or to give himself either to good or bad. To love Jesus means that a man focuses his heart, affections, and will, upon God by giving and receiving the love of God. We must give all we have and all we are to Jesus Christ for him to do as he will. We must deny our self daily, not deny our self of things, but deny self, we die to self and our will that we might live in Him for His will. This should be the action of our love for God.
Let us be careful not to give God simple lip service while our hearts lay with the enemy. Let us surrender our whole hearts and live a life of pure love unto the Lord, a life that He might be pleased with our testimony and we have everlasting life.

Gospel Gossip
Mark 16:15 "And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature,"
The resurrection is the basis for hope in the Christian faith. The women who came to the tomb expected to find death. Instead, they met an angel who told them that Jesus had risen. Belief that Jesus rose is the key to the completion of his promise that we will rise also. Believers can also experience resurrection power in their lives.
Go and tell is the command given to every man and woman who has received the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the sharing of this good new which is the power to change the world. We must tell people that the resurrection brings regeneration into the lives of those who are spiritually dead, through the power of the Holy Spirit. This brings about a new birth, changing one from the inside out. This is the basis for the Church's witness to the world. Every believer can share this certainty with confidence.

Of course, a great controversy has always surrounded the Resurrection. The Jewish priest paid the guards to deny what happened that day, and there are still millions of People who deny the truth of Christ resurrection, in word and in deed. Sometime we profess to be born of Him, don't live like he rose with all power. We at times don't trust that he overcame the world and all it's temptations, and thus harms our witness to the world. A witness is one who tells what he or she knows as a certainty. You can only witness that which you seen or experienced. Countless people who have been touched and changed by meeting the risen Christ, provide undeniable evidence of the resurrection. The way they live their life is their witness that He lives, and rose with all power. The first disciples were commanded to be witness, and each of us whose lives have been changed by the resurrection must invite those who need Him to know Him. The Resurrection's reality gives hope to a needy world and gives all who truly believes the power to change the world.

Having The Promise
2 Corinthians 7:1" Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in fear of God".
God promises to dwell in the heart of those who will let Him in. He says He stands at the door knocking, we have the this promise let us therefore prepare Him room in the inns of our hearts that we might give birth to Jesus in our lives.
The text says "having these promises"; that God will dwell in us, and he will be our God and we will be his people. The promise that he will walk with us, that we are never alone. The promise that he will receive us, for whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. The promise that he will be our Father and we shall be his sons and daughters. His promise to provide our every need, so we can take no thought for the cares of this world. So let us cleanse ourselves, both body and mind from all filthiness. If God is going to dwell within us let us clean the house for so pure a God. We must set before us perfect holiness as a thing to be reached, and blame ourselves if we fall short. Let us strive for true perfection through Jesus Christ by living a life of total self denial.
Then let us perfect holiness in the fear of God, out of a reverence to who He is and what He has already done. The fear of God casts out the fear of man and thus saves us from one prolific cause of sin, and disobedience. The fear of God casts out the love of Sin, and if you pull out the root the fruit is sure to be destroyed. The fear of God works in and through love to him, and is a great factor of holiness. The fear of God is the root of faith, worship, obedience and so it produces all manner of holy service. So Let us look to the promises of God and be cleansed and with holy reverence seek perfection in His beloved Son Jesus Christ

A Servant
Ephesians 1:1"Paul, and apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saint which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Jesus Christ".
Paul was greatly privileged, he felt there is no greater privilege in all the world than to be a servant of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, the son of God, the supreme Lord of the universe in all it's enormity. Paul was possessed by Jesus Christ. Paul felt the true joy of his salvation as he realized that Jesus the Son of God loved him so much that He took on human form to save him the chief of sinners.
Paul marveled in the truth that God's only begotten Son has given him the chance of knowing the true and living God in the most personal way,to know Him as his Savior and Lord. Paul knew that Christ, knew him personally, but here Paul was given the chance to know Christ personally. Imagine being able to know the Son of God personally! No greater privilege could exist. Paul knew this and he surrendered his life completely to Christ. All he was and all he had, Paul turned it over to Christ. He was possessed and obsessed with Christ. He Lived for Christ and for Christ alone. Christ was Paul's Savior, but he was also his Lord and Master. Paul was not his own to do as he willed; he was Christ's to do only as Christ willed. This is also the call to the Church and it's believers. We have been called out and separated from this world. Consecrated for the will of the Lord. We have given ourselves to live a consecrated, holy life, all for the glory of God. So we must also surrender our all over to Christ. His will must be our will, as we live our life for His glory.
Let us worship Him with our living as we make ours a life of a living sacrifice, and praise Him with our living ,by living a hallelujah life that leads lost souls to the salvation of the Lord.

Called Unto Salvation
1 Thessalonians 5:9 "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ".
A Christian is someone who professes a belief that Jesus is the Son of God. In addition , he or she has made a commitment to be like Christ. To be united with Christ means to be one with Jesus, and is a statement of a Christian's partnership with Jesus in communicating to others, what Jesus is like.
The hearts and action of Christians are to be the same as that of Jesus Christ. Included in the attitude that should characterize the lives of Christians, are tenderness, compassion, unity of spirit, love and a desire to serve others. What should be absent are selfish ambitions and vain conceit. God understands that doing these things will not be easy. The journey to the cross was not a easy journey. Jesus was obedient to death knowing that his sacrifice would ultimately result in restoring man's relationship with God. God wants Christians to be obedient to the same degree, knowing that this will fulfill His purpose for our lives.

Being one with Christ should result in a desire to be like Christ. This in turn should lead us to be obedient. The net result should be a life that reflects Christ character. One where our attitude and actions are a good reflection on God. Like Noah's ark, there is only one door into salvation, and that door is Jesus, and only those in Christ will be saved when the flood of judgment comes only Jesus can save

Real Love
Luke 6:27-28 "But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you,"
Jesus said He is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus is the way of love , the truth of what love is, and the life of love we are to live. Let us walk and communicate that love to a lost and dying world that they may come to know the true way of love.
Jesus instructs us to love without respect of person. We are to love ye one another as Christ loved us. this kind of love does not result from any merit or attractiveness in the other person, but comes solely from the heart of the one loving. Our love for others must cause us to seek the best interest of the other person, despite how they feel towards us. Now this love does not result from a weakness or failure to stand up for truth or justice, it is a purposeful love that flows from a strong heart that seeks the eternal salvation of others. This sacrificial love demonstrates that our purpose for living is larger than self, not our will but God's will be done. Our love must be strong and purposeful in accepting mistreatment, as it shows our trust in the Lord and his ability to use the situation for his Glory. Jesus not only taught us our love must be strong and purposeful when mistreated, but we must also be merciful to others in our daily lives, as the Father daily pours out new mercy on us.
The standard of sacrificial love goes beyond what others might do or what we might feel we should do, but it is what Jesus teaches us to do. The prime example of selfless giving is our heavenly Father himself, who showed kindness to all humanity in spite of as he gave his only begotten son that we might have everlasting life.

Where is your treasures?
Matthew 15:8 "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; But their heart is far from me".
We see the Lord says that many draw near to Him with lip service, but our hearts are far from Him. We say we love the Lord but in fact we really love the things that we receive from God. We have begun to worship the blessings more than the one who has blessed us.
We must be careful not to confuse surrendering our lives to Christ with surrendering it to the things of this world. He said we follow Him because the things we receive not for the truth of the word. It is easy to say let go and let God, but to do this we must truly let go. We have to be willing to let go of everything and everyone. We must be willing to let go of family, friends, material gain, jobs, and most importantly, we must let go of self and our will. Jesus told the rich young ruler to sell everything, give it to the poor, take up his cross and follow; and this is where we lose so many. We must let it go and let God give us that he wants us to have, according to his will, not our want.
Love is a action word, and when we say we love the Lord it should be seen in our action. We should show our love one for another. The world should see how we care for the widows orphans and the fatherless. we should be a walking example of the Lord from God to a dying world. Those in darkness should see our light. The world should be able to see Christ in us and the life we live.

Food From Heaven
2 Timothy 3:16 " All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works".
We have been called and separated from this world to be ambassadors for Christ. Called to live a life that bears witness to the truth of Gods' word that Jesus saves. Called to let our light so shine before man that they see our good works and glorify God in heaven. We have been given all that we need to live this life, yet we tend to fall short of Gods calling.
The word of God instructs us and to go out into a sinful world and live a holy and fruitful life, which will lead lost souls to seek the salvation of the Lord. We must learn to trust the whole word of God, not only to comfort and encourage us, but also to instruct and correct us. Gods word is the lamp which must guide our steps and direct our paths. For the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Gods words are the principles by which we must live by. It is the standard we shall all be judged by, and His word is all that we need to be complete for the service and work which God has called us to do. With Gods word we are all thoroughly furnished and fully equipped to handle all that comes upon us, that we might lead a lost world to the salvation of the Lord.
Let us now take this word and feed a hungry world that they too might seek the salvation of the Lord. Jesus saves, pass it on...

Children of the King
John 3:3" Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
The old foundation has faults and short comings, it can't support the glory or the treasure of this new building. We must have a new nature, with new principles, with new affections and new aims. We must be born another, a different person than the first; like the birth of Israel from Jacob and Paul from Saul. We will have different traits, different desires, doing different things. all Christians are born again, our first birth was after the first man Adam, corrupt, shaped in sin and iniquity, born to die, lost in need of a savior. So we must under go a second birth, a spiritual birth to take on the nature of our adoptive Father.
Now we once again are in the image and after the likeness of our Heavenly Father, having a new attitude, as we walk in a newness of life, with a new heart, a soft heart of love as the stony heart of sin and hatred is no more.We walk in the scriptures, walking by new rules, and towards new ends. We come from new principles, as we make new choices, chose new paths to walk in, and new leaders to walk after ,while having new companions to walk with. The new man, who is what he was not, and now does what he did not, a new creature in Christ. Crucified with Christ by faith, dying to the old man and his ways, we now live in a resurrected body, being raised with Christ to a newest of life, we are now children of the most high God.
Birth, the sign of Life; it is a symbol of new life, a new creation. Saints if you want to see King Jesus, you must be born again. It is a must if you want to walk on this journey. Jesus said you must be born again. Every sincere Christian purifies his soul to rid it of the uncleanliness and defilement of sin, which pollutes the soul. Whoever is seeking salvation, must be purified thru the truth of the gospel, for we are clean by his words. The word of God says at our best we are but filthy rags. Jesus said "except a man be born again", We must have a new life; birth is the beginning of life, so the walk must start here. Just as physical life begins at birth, so must our spiritual life begin with the birth of our spiritual man.

Jesus Is Calling
John 11:29 " As soon as she heard that she arose quickly, and came unto Him".
We are called to lead lost souls to Christ. We must lift Him high enough that those following us will see Jesus and not us. We have to be careful not to allow our stuff to get in the way with someone's chance to meet Jesus. Jesus is calling let, us lead the lost to Christ.
In our text today we have Mary, the sister of Lazarus who is dead. Martha had just receive a revelation from Jesus as to who He is, and she runs to share the news with her sister. When we come to know Jesus for ourselves we too should run tell someone, starting with our household. Now when she tells Mary the master is come and He calls for her, Mary immediately rises and runs to Him. We should all run to the Lord when He calls for us. He is calling for many still this day through the truth of His gospel. We are the voice to share that gospel truth, we are chosen to tell the lost that the master is come and He is calling for them. Now when Mary came running to Jesus, many of the others in the house followed her. There are many who are following us in our journey to Jesus. You might not see them or even know them, but someone is following you to Christ.
Now when Mary got to Christ she fell at His feet in humble worship, all who were following her seen Jesus and not her, for she humbled herself . When we lead others to Christ we need to get out of the way that they might see Jesus. It is not about the church, denomination, Pastor or even the ministry, if they don't find Christ and enter into the true ark of safety, the church or denomination they join won't really matter.

Seek The Lord
Song of Solomon 3:4 " It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought Him into my mothers house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me".
Those who truly love Jesus will seek him with all they have, and when they find Him they will hold on to Him with all their might.
When you truly have Jesus you can't help but to share Him with all you see. See the love of Jesus creates in our hearts ,love one for another. When we have him he lives within our spirits, His mind is our mind, his will is our will, and he is seen by others in all that we do. But first we must find Him; to find Christ, one just needs to seek Him. The writer says "I found Him"; I a man, found the Lord of Glory; I a slave to sin, found the great deliverer; I, a child of darkness, found the light of the world; I the uttermost of the lost ,found my Savior and my God.Now I hold Him; Holding Him by not offending Him.
When you diligently search for Christ in your heart, he shall be found, but then you must hold to Him by learning of Him, by loving Him, by obeying Him. Build a personal one on one relationship with him, then share him. Bring him to your house, not in word only but let others see him in you by your actions, and attitude

On His Way To Glory!
John 15:13 " Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
Jesus died on a cross for the sin of the world, rose the third day morning with all power in His hands that we might love others the way He has loved us. Now remember He loved us while we were yet sinners, ungodly, enemies of God, for Christ died for the ungodly, on His way to glory.
Like Hosea, God redeemed us back after sin had destroyed the once good thing created in the image and likeness of God. He sent His only begotten Son to accept for us the wage paid by sin. He called us friends all who keep His commandments and to prove His love for His friends He laid down His life that all who believe could have an abundant life in paradise with Him and the Father. On His way to glory he glorified the Father, as his work now complete, he had given sight to blind eyes, so now man could see that he was lost and in need of a savior. He had put hearing in deaf ear, so man could hear the word of God. He put speaking in the mouth of the dumb, so man could share the good news of the gospel. He put walking in the legs of the lame, so man could stand firm on God's word, and walk up right is His righteousness. He even called the dead back to life, so man could live a new life as he was no longer dead in sin.
On His way to glory Jesus paved the way for lost man to be saved and live with Him in eternal glory. Jesus willing to lay down His life that we might know his love, receive his mercy, and live in His grace. Jesus obedient unto death that we might be obedient unto life everlasting, all on His way to glory. Jesus accepted for us, the wage paid by sin. Jesus died that we might have life and life more abundantly.
