Enemy Mind

Romans 8:7-8 " Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God".

There are many religions and religious groups today. In fact religion is the fastest growing organized group in the world today.But all religion is not holy,and all is not of Christ.There are many beliefs falsely labeled"Christian" and are taught under the name of Jesus Christ.His name is used as a mask for religious philosophies and doctrines that didn't originate with Him or any of His apostles.There are many teachings and followings of gospels full of lawlessness and counterfiet righteousness and is just a natural expression of what we call human nature.

Paul wrote the mind is hostle to God, it does not submit to God's law nor can it do so.Those who are controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.Our natural choice isn't to obey God,but to resist Him and His way of life.As a result, alternatives to the true message of Christ have been devised to accommodate the natural human unwillingness to live by God's commandmants.A message to apease the wants needs and desires of the flesh.Most people who accept these lawless precepts are no doubt sincere.They have accepted and truly believe a fake message which has been taugh and preached for centuries."The delusion is very powerful,the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of satan,with all power, signs, and lying wonders,and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish,because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved.And for this reason God will send them a strong delusion,that they should believe the lie." (2 Thessalonians 2:9-11).

Under the influence of Satan,"the god of this age", mankind has been thoroughly blinded.The devil's unseen power so dominates humanity that "the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. Many people have accepted a counterfeit gospel,a message full of fluff,and stuff, with no conviction. There must be conviction in the heart if there is going to be a true conversion of the soul.You cannot be pardon of a crime, unless you have been convicted of a crime.Don't be deceived , seek the truth of God's message.

Heart Surgery

Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful,and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and morrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart:"

   The word of God is a name for Christ. It is the essential word that in the beginning was with God and was God.But it is also the scriptures, the written word of God, but the Lord Jesus is never separated from them.He indeed is the substance of the written word. Scripture is what it is because Jesus himself embodies himself in them.(He comes in the vol. of the book).So we have the word of God,which is the power of God and the sword of God.It is the sword of peace and rest, and also a sword of salvation and judgment. It is the instrumnet by which we are set free from the bondage of sin and death, but by this same instrument the world will be judged and condemed.  It is the truth which makes us free,yet because of unbelief all are not free, many wonder aimlessly in a vast wilderness, a prisoner of our own doubt not trusting or believing God's word.Many right now are wondering, lost in the wilderness of worry,because of unbelief,some are lost in a wilderness of dispear and depression, trapped by the cares of this world all because of unbelief.(Jesus said he overcame the world).

 See, the enemy takes our doubt, adds in deception,and with a little lie holds us captive in his kingdom of unbelief. But the word of God , which is our power, will not only cut down satans kingdom, but will set up the kingdom of Christ on the ruins of it.We have Gods word to fight the battle of truth, to destroy sin by piercing the heart and conscience of sinful man, destroying unbelief, as it arouses and awakens the conscience, convicts the heart and converts the soul. His word judges our thoughts,works,actions and everything about us,that we might experience his peace and enter his everlasting rest and salvation.The help we have from the Lord is his word, our sword,and power, but we must first reverence the word truly as spoken by God. Then his word is quick,and quicking it is life and it creates life wherever it comes. It is a living and incorruptable seed which can never be destroyed. It is powerful;it powerfully convicts,converts,comforts and  It pulls down strong holds.It has the power to raise us to great heights of holiness and happiness. His word is sharpe, it cuts all over, it cuts and wounds all who touch it; it kills self righteousness,sin and unbelief cutting going out and comming in.It cuts deep removing sinful habits away from the soul, that have become the nature of sinful man.It cuts ignorance from understanding,rebillion from the will, and hostility from the mind.It's piercing, forcing its way into the heart of man thru the smallest of opening even the dividing soul and spirit. Precision cuts, dividing the joints and marrow without damaging the bone. This word will cut the lust from the flesh, and like a lazor will remove the lust from the eye.

 This word is revealing, a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, revealing even the most secret thoughts and design. This word will turn a sinner inside out, and let him see all that is in his heart, turning a sinner into a saint. The word of God,our power,our sword. Jesus Christ,the power of God unto salvation

Heirs Of God

Galatians 4:7 " Wherefore thou art no more a servant,but a son; and if a son,then an heir of God through Christ".

When a child is adopted that means a parent went and chose a particular child to take care of, to provide for.We have been chosen by God, picked out to be part of His royal family.We're adopted into God's family when we trust in Jesus as our Savior.It only happens through our relationship with Him. This is when we become God's child.We were originally born in sin,which separates us from God, making us His enemy, as we are followers of Satan. But when we make a conscience decision to accept Christ,and become a born again ,baptized, blood washed believer we begin a relationship with Christ and are on our way to becoming a part of God's royal family.

Once we establish a relationship with Christ we are brought into God's family.God adopts us and bestows His grace on us through Christ.Every spiritual blessing is found in Christ,and the only way to be with Christ is by believing in Him and doing what He requires.This is how everyone becomes blessed.God is now our Father.All of the riches of heaven are our inheritance.So why are we acting like orphans?Why do we stand outside the gate,like we are not welcome to come in,like we don't know the way in.We should be living as children of the king,heirs of His promise,celebrating everyday,the joys of our inheritance. God so loved us he looked beyond all that was wrong with us and he chose us.He wants us to be part of His family,He adopted us with the blood of His only begotten,Let us accept this free gift with gladness and walk worthy of the family name.

Jesus died, He endured all that sin causes so that we can be free of the guilt, shame and death of sin. That we might have a life of peace and Joy with our Father which art in heaven.All we need to do is go out and enjoy that which God has for us.He is our Father,and every good and perfect gift is from Him,and he will with hold no good thing from us.All that is before us, all that we go through is for our good and the building of His Kingdom which is part of our inheritance,for we are a child of the King.

Because He Lives

Psalms 62:7 In God is my salvation and my glory: and my refuge, is in God."

I am because of who He is. When I was lost in sin destined for eternal damnation, God loved me so much He sent His only begotten son to die that I might live. Because He lives, I can have life and life more abundantly.

Jesus The Christ is the life which all who have been born again now enjoy. For the life we now live we live by faith in the only begotten of God.  It is in Him that we are made new; In Him we are the righteousness of God; In Him we are justified, sanctified and eventually will be glorified, and live eternally with our Father in heaven. Out side of Christ we are at our best but a filthy rag. In God is my salvation as it rest in Jesus and Jesus alone, for there is no other way that man can be saved. In Him is our glory for outside of Him there is no glory. In Him is my refuge, cause He is a shelter in a time of storm, and He is my resting place.

As it was in the days of Noah, all who are not in the safety of our Lord Jesus Christ when the flood waters of judgment comes shall perish, because in Him you shall have everlasting life.

Still Saving

Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ; the same yesterday, today, and forever"

Christianity and religion; over the years these two words have come to mean something totally different than what they were intended. The corruption and misuse of one, has caused us to challenge the integrity of the other. With an ever increasing desire for power, prestige, and monetary gain, the dignity, character, and respect of Christianity has been brought into question. The vainness of man's imagination, along with his new style religion, has polluted, distorted and corrupted the worlds view of a Christian. The religions of today seem to be driven by the desires of the flesh, and is no longer pure and UN defiled. If you look hard enough you could find a religion to comfort, and conforms to every attitude, belief, and lifestyle of man's imagination; complete with a doctrine, denomination and a congregation to follow a self proclaimed leader.

We have distorted, altered, and cheapened Gods perfect plan of salvation. In our search for the ideal religion, we have gotten caught up in the treasures and pleasures of this world, and have closed our hearts to Gods revelation, and have opened our minds to man's imagination. But Jesus never changes, what was sin then is still sin now; what he spoke against then, he is still speaking against now. Jesus didn't die to give us the right to sin, he died to save us from sin,  and he rose to give us the power to live without sin. Jesus Christ, the same Yesterday, today, and forever. Jesus Christ, Gods spoken word, by which all things made was made, the spoken word by which Abraham believed and it was counted as Righteousness. Jesus Christ, the same today; the written word of God unchanged and uncensored, to rebuke, reprove, to correct and instruct us in righteous that we might be thourghly furnished unto every good work. Written that we might believe on the only begotten of God. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever; The living word of God , yesterday the ram in the bush, today the lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world. Yesterday the way out of the fiery furnace, today the way out of the fires of eternal damnation. Yesterday Noah's ark, today the savior of all who enters his rest. Yesterday manna from heaven today and forever more the bread of heaven, yesterday the love of God , today the love from God to all who will believe...

Let There Be Light

2Corinthians 4:4" In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believed not,lest the light of the glorious gospelof Christ,who is the image of God should shine unto them".


The sad fact remains that this is not God's world.God's kingdom is still not of this world,as Jesus Christ made clear in Jn.18:36.Who is the god of this age?He is none other than satan,he is the worlds ruler. Jesus said (in Jn 12:31) "the ruler of this world will be cast out".Although we cannot see satan, his influence on the world is pervasive.The result of the devils influence is that before conversion,we all conducted ourselves in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and we were by nature children of wrath.Satan spiritually influences us to reject God and God's words.Under satan's influences the carnal mind is enmity against God. Separated from God we choose to go our own way,with devestating and tragic results."There is a way that seems right to a man,but its end is the way of death".


Satan's influences is so great that he "deceives the whole world".The entire world lies under the sway of the wicked one.Under satan influences man has rejected God's revelation and with his vain thinking has started worshiping that which is from his own imagination.He has built societies,civilizations,and even religion on the wrong foundation.God's kingdom is one built on the foundation of Love, but man has chosen to build his on a monetary success driven foundation."For the love of money is the root of all evil", yet man in his limited canal thinking has built everything around the haves and the have nots.We no longer love our neighbor as we love ourselves ,cause we are in competition with our neighbor.So there is no shareing, or watching out one for another , we no longer have that "if i got it you got it" attitude. It is more like I got mind better get your own mentality.We have mega churches worth millions of dollar and many of their members can't even pay there bills.

Do You Love Me

John 14:15 " If  you love me, keep my commandments".
We must love as God loves us. God showed kindness and love to all humanity regardless of how they treated him.  He gave his only begotten son that we might have everlasting life. When we love others the way Jesus instructed us to, we show the world we are his and we show the love of God to a lost soul that they might receive everlasting life.

The heart is the seat of man's affections, and devotion. The heart attaches and focuses our  affection, will, and devotion to an object or person. The heart causes a man to will, or to give himself either to good or bad. To love Jesus means that a man focuses his heart, affections, and will, upon God by giving and receiving the love of God. We must give all we have and all we are to Jesus Christ for him to do as he will. We must deny our self daily, not deny our self of things, but deny self, we die to self and our will that we might live in Him for His will. This should be the action of our love for God.

Let us be careful not to give God simple lip service while our hearts lay with the enemy. Let us surrender our whole hearts and live a life of pure love unto the Lord, a life that He might be pleased with our testimony and we have everlasting life.

He Still Saves

John 1:29 "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God ,which taketh away the sin of the world."

One day when I was lost ,Jesus died upon a cross, to take away the sin of the world. He saved me; God took on the image of man, that man might once again be made in the image of God. He took on my image,endured my punishment and suffered my death, to take away my sin. Behold the Lamb of God.

Jesus died to free us from sin not in our sin. We must look too the Lamb of God that we might be saved.We must truly look to Him when we fall into divers temptations, for Jesus said "I have power over all flesh". Jesus and Jesus alone has the power to make the flesh behave. It is when we walk in the spirit of Christ that we don't give in to the lust,will and desires of the flesh. John tells us why we must look to Him, he says "which taketh away the sin of the world". Notice sin is singular, the sin that started all this was mans unbelief of God's word, which lead to man's disobedience to God's word. When man obeys God man is without sin, it is our disobedience to God that opens the door to all the evil of this world.Jesus is the only way man can be obedient to God.

Now I'm not saying you will never have sin in your life.The flesh is full of sin, and you have to carry it where ever you go. But think of it like a bottle full of whiskey, you can have it in your pocket,but as long as you don't open it and drink of it, you won't get drunk. Look to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

Living A Lie

Will You Stand

Luke 22:31 "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desire to have you, that he may sift you like wheat".

Are you the Christian you profess to be? Can God put your life on display? Does Satan desire to have you? Ours is a life in a glass bowl, all eyes are on the Christian in these troubled times. The world is watching to see if we will protests or pray, have a revival or revolt, if we will stand for Christ or fall to the wiles of the evil one.

Times are hard and getting harder. But we who profess Christ must realize that we are not to behave the same way as the world. We have been called from among them and the Lord God is our provider. The enemy is trying to sift us to show the world we are hypocrites and that we are more like chaff  than wheat. He wants us to react as the world would, protest in stead of praying for he knows our power in in our prayer life. He wants us to hate, find fault and judge all that we disagree with as he knows that will show we are rebelling against the will and way of God. No matter what you believe God is always in control and everything happens for His reason not ours. Satan is still using his same old tricks trying to divide and conquer. Trying to separate us from God that he might destroy or testimonies and make worthless our witness.

We have reached an impasse in this country that has shed light on actions and hatred unbecoming a child of God. Satan has requested permission from God to sift His children and many are coming up short. There is a saying what ever you are full of is what will spill over when pushed, and there is a bunch of non- Christ like stuff coming out of some of us profess Christians. Let us remember who we are and whose we are and stand strong for Christ and in Christ that a lost world  might be saved.

Keep Holding On

Help In A Time Of Weakness

2 Corinthians 12:9a"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee:For My strength is made perfect in weakness."

Saints like us, there were things that tested Paul's faith in the Lord.See Paul had a thorn in his flesh,and he asked the Lord to remove it from him.Saints God could have removed the flesh and the lust there of from us, our thorn, but he said his grace is suficient.In times of temptation we need to trust and rely on God's grace to carry us through.As we believers grow older, we often experience different life pressures.Satan would like nothing more than for us to abandon ship,and turn from God when we become discourage in times of difficulty,but Christ and the Holy Spirit provide grace appropriate for each season of life.saints we must realize that Jesus is the power of God....

To the Christian teenager, things seen in the media or on social networking web site may be more appealing to them, than the stuff written in the bible or talked about in church.Young parents may face finacial pressures due to a lost job or needs of a handicapped child.Middle-aged Christians may suddenly find a spouse unattractive or a job boring.The temptation is to abandon family responsibilities as the grass begins to look greener elsewhere,and divorce is no longer an unacceptable option.Senior men and women may feel neglected by children who are busy pursuing their owe lives.Increasing physical limitations may restrict activities they once enjoyed and even at church,seniors may feel replaced by younger people and no longer needed.No matter what the stage,God gives grace to help us stand firm.When we are at our weakest, that is when God is at his best.God's grace is strong enough to help the christian hold firm in every season of life.

Like Paul we must pray that God will encourage our hearts,both in trials and in our Christian walk,to give us steadfastness and stability in our witness to, and our defense of the Gospel,both in word and deed.When we find ourselves feeling discouraged and weak,we should not forget that God is able to supply us with what we need to get moving again.His resources are more than abundant enough to meet our needs,and he is eager for us to come to him for help.

Not For Sale;But Available To All

Acts 8:20 "But Peter said unto him,Thy money perish with thee,because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money."

Salvation is not for sale. There is no amount of money you can give that can save you.You cannot buy the indwelling of God spirit that comes in and changes a lost soul into a child of God.Jesus paid the cost when He shed His blood on Calvary. Through His death and His alone we can receive the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Here Simon who once deceived the people that he was someone great, and the people from the greatest to the least though he was one great from God. God's word is the power of God unto salvation it can change a sinner into a saint.There are many today who go about deceiving the people. They go about selling the power of God's word  in the form of prayer cloth, miracle oils, water, and yes even in the seeds of faith, as the people believe them to be someone great from God. After he was baptized,Simon continued with Phillip and beheld the miracles and signs that were done.When Simon saw that when Peter and John laid hands on the people they received the Holy spirit, he offered them money to have that same power.

We don't have to pay money to receive the power of the Holy Spirit,we only need to believe.When you accept Christ as your personal savior, and surrender your life to Him, you have all the power He has, for the life you now live in the flesh you live by faith of the Son of God. See it's not I, but Christ that lives in me. He rose with all power,so I, in faith have access to this same power,if I only believe. It is not for sale but you can obtain it, its a free gift to all who believes.
