Ephesians 4:1 "I Therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called".
Saying and doing are just two different things. We the called of God often preach one word and are guilty of living another and we wonder why we can't win over a lost world. Well the world believes what it sees and what we are showing them is not the life God called us to live. It is time for our walk to exceed our talk.
We are instructed to walk in a manner worthy of the name by which we are called. Effective witnessing is not just in what we say to the world in our words, but it is also in what the world sees in our walk. We live in a seeing is believing world, and if you truly want to be an effective witness, let your walk and talk both glorify the Lord. We are the light of the world. People are lead out of the dark when they see the light . Our walk does matter, it actually matters more than what we say, more people see you than hear you. Remember the old saying actions speak louder than words. It is easy to tell someone that God loves them, but to show the love of God, we must be active. We are the light of the world, so let those in darkness see your light, let them see your love one to another. Let them see the love of God spread abroad in your heart in your words and deeds. We are set upon a hill, the world is watching and no matter how small the light it can be seen by all in darkness. Let the world see your light shining.
No mater who your are in Christ your walk matters. There is someone following you on your journey. You are the bible they are reading, the picture of what they believe a Christian to be like. Let your walk be worthy of the name you profess. Be a light house and not a stumbling block, that a lost soul might seek Jesus the light of the world and be saved. Let your walk exceed your talk, live for Jesus.

It's all In Jesus
Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
We are living in very uncertain times. These days it is very hard for one to plan ahead, we have people in Washington who can't seems to come together on what is best for the American people. One side pulling this way and the other side pulling that way, and we are left in the middle full of doubt and uncertainties. We just don't know, will we have a job or not, will we have a income, will we have a house to live in, what will we eat and what shall we wear. We just don't know what we should do, yes these are some tough times. But we have comfort in Gods word. He says " take no thought" take no thought for tomorrow for tomorrow will take care of itself.
Take no thought for what you will eat, or wear for your father in heaven knows you have need of these things. " But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and these things shall be added unto you." He starts off with "But" . God has a but for everyone of our doubts and fears. You say " I don't see no way thru this", But "I am the way" a way out of no way. You say " what are we going to eat" But "I am the bread of life". He says "But ", then, seek ye first; this has to be the first thing on our agenda, let him who is first have the first, the first of our thoughts, the first of our day, the first of all our fruits, let all our waking thoughts be of God first. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God" now when we seek him , we must really seek him. Seek him like we do when we can't find the car keys and we are about to be late to work. Turn over everything , move everything, look even in places you know they are not, and that you've look in before. So move greed, and pride out of your hearts, turn over unrighteousness, self righteousness, pity, doubt and fear, remove all things and people which might hinder you seeking and finding the kingdom of God. This action will bring you to a moment of self actualization, allowing you to see where you are, in contrast to where God needs you to be, if you really seek him that is.
He says" But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness" When seeking the kingdom, make sure you also seek the righteousness of that kingdom; Jesus the righteousness of God, seek him diligently for he is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him.

Workers not Owners
Philippians 2:21 "For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's".
The enemy has a new weapon, well it I snot really new it is just disguised differently. It is called pride, but it is hidden in a cloak of false humility which leads people to unknowingly take glory from God and at times defile the work of the cross. Many today profess to have ministries that is theirs which they claim to be doing God's work. We can't save anybody so how can we have a ministry which professes to do the work of the Lord. It is not our salvation, or gospel or even our souls. It is not our church, so how could it be our ministry, we are just ministers who serve in the ministry of Christ. We are members of the Church of the living God, workers in His vineyard. Jesus said" upon this rock I build MY Church", and the ministry you have been blessed to serve in still belongs to Him.
The word of God tells us this life we now live in the flesh,we now live through Christ, it is not us who live but He now lives through us.We have no say so as what we will or will not do.We are His servant, He is the master we are His bond servants. It is not about our will, our wants or even who we are. It is not about our salvation but the Savior who saved us all. They are not our souls we were told to compell to come to the Lord. It is not up to us who is or is not worthy to hear the good news. Jesus said go out and proclaim it to ever creature. Just like we don't know who is going to hell, we also don't know who is going to heaven, regardless of how many tickets they have in their hand. Jesus told us to proclaim the gospel to every creature. It is not our church, or even our ministry, we are just ministers in the ministry of Christ.

When and only when we truly come to realize this is about Christ and Him crucified, when we come to the knowledge that God didn't leave any part of salvation up to us for He said "you didn't choose me, I chose you", because we didn't have enough since to choose Jesus. Remember we shouted give me Barabbas. But we were chosen for His will, out of His goodness and to serve His purpose. So let us remember the true JOY of salvation "Jesus-Others-Yourself", and let us stand united as the redeemed of the Lord say so.

Tell The Truth
John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free".
Many who profess Christ are being decieved.Many say they have accepted the Lord of glory yet they reject the truth of His word.How can you accept Jesus who is the truth and at the same time reject the truth?Yet many are living a life being decieved by the lust will and desire of the flesh,living in the confinement of the lies of man's imagination instead of the truth of God's revelation.
We should be pleased when someone loves us enough to share the truth with us ,even if that truth hurts our feeling or is contrary to what we believe think or want.Jesus is the truth of God's revelation to mankind, and without that truth man cannot be saved.Be not decieved by the lust will and desire of your flesh.Be made free in the truth of God's revelation to man.

The truth is the only way a man can be saved,and sometimes the truth hurts.The truth is we are not doing or giving your best to God like we might think.I believe we all want to do are best, but the truth is we are probably not, and most reject this truth.We will even go as far as get mad and accuse one of judging us if we are told we are not doing and giving God our best.But ask yourself a few questions, do you go to work the way you come to church? Are you late all the time,leaving early when you want.Do you disrespect your employer to his face?If we are honest with ourself we will notice that we do these things to the God,and we claim He is the head of our life. Now I'm not saying anybody is going to hell,but just showing how we might not be giving God the best we have.It is with this and other truths that we are made free from the deception of the enemy.

Come Back To God
Joel 2:12"Therefore also now saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting and with weeping and with mourning:"
There is a feast prepared with the bread of heaven, we must gather all those we can, and bring them into the house of the Lord;and cry unto the lord" spare thy people O Lord and "Forgive us for we no not what we do. Let us come together, all the people, and hear what the Lord said; for the Lord says "Turn to me".
There are many going the wrong way, doing the wrong thing, following the wrong leaders, and traveling on the wrong road. Many on the broad road, yet Jesus said narrow is the way. God says turn, turn from our wicked ways, just turn and turn loose. Let go of the earthy and grab hold of the heavenly. Don't just turn your head giving the appearance of change, you know walking different but still going in the same direction. Let us turn our hearts with weeping and mourning, rent our hearts like it greatly grieves our souls to have sinned against God, rent our hearts, as we desire to never do it again. Rent our heart not our garments, make this an inward commitment and not an outward show. Rent our hearts, and turn to God with fasting and prayer, not the commitment of doing without meat for a day, but the commitment of doing without sin for a lifetime, as Jesus told the lady go and sin no more. Crucify the old man and his ways, walk in a newness of life.
Let us turn, and turn and fast, and fasten to him, and fasten on him, like Jacob holding on to the angel, and refusing to let go. We are blessed when we hold on to God. Grab on to him, hold to him with true devotion and loyalty, hold fast weeping for the wrong we have done to him, and the shame sin has brought to us, his beautiful bride. Hold on and wait for our change to come.

He Prayed For All
John 17:20 " Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their words;"
Here we have Jesus praying for future believers, those who will believe the message of the early disciples.This is very precious, as Jesus prays for you, and me, He prays for us for all who believe the truth of His message this day and the days to come. Just think for a moment, who is the weakest believer on earth today? Who is the strongest? Only God knows, but think of the fact that Jesus prayed for each and everyone of us.
The purpose of a perfected unity is so that the world may know that God sent Jesus into the world to save it. But we the believer most be one with one message, that we might save a lost world.

He prayed that we be one, there must be unity among all believers, for we are one body having one head, lead in one mission, to proclaim only one message; Christ and Him crucified. The standard for unity is the oneness between Jesus and His Father. We are to be one as the Father and the Son are one. We are to have the very same unity one to another. Having one mind, one heart and of one spirit "One Lord, one Faith and one Baptism". God has one request of man, to believe on the only begotten of the Father, and he prays that we be unified in this message and the request. Jesus doesn't just pray that we be unified, but that we be perfected in unity, perfected as one body. Many have been lost, because the believers have not been unified enough to penetrate the world with the gospel. God is willing that all be saved, Jesus died that all have a right to the tree of life, but we the believer have failed to carry a unified message into a non-believing world, so Jesus prays that we be perfected as one body.

Jesus Christ Is The Way
1 Corinthians 9:16b "Woe is unto me if I preach not the gospel"!
The gospel of Jesus Christ , the power of God unto salvation. But did you know it is the power of God for everything that man needs.The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the message that will save man. In it lies the truth that will lead one in darkness into God's marvelous light. The gospel of Jesus Christ, from His birth, how He was born of a virgin, to His death, the perfect sacrifice for imperfect people, this is the power of God unto salvation.
He who knew no sin was made sin so we who was born of sin might be made free of sin. His death and shed blood as He died on a cross for the sin of the world. God's love given to man while we were yet without strength, ungodly, unholy, while we were sinners Christ died for us. Jesus was made a curse to free us from the curse. His resurrection, The new life we are given to live. How He rose on the third day morning with all power in His hands. The power for us to live a life pleasing unto God. The power for us to live a life that will lead others to the salvation of the Lord. Jesus the Christ and Him crucified the message that will convict and change a lost world.
With all the choices of religion before us, there is only one God; There are many bibles printed, but there is only one truth. We have the freedom to live any life, but there is only one life. And with the many roads we can travel there is only one way. Jesus Christ, the truth of Gods word, our eternal life and the only way to our heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is the way.
