Blessed In Jesus

Acts 4:12 " Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved".

I have heard many say, I am just waiting on  my blessing from the Lord. Well the truth of the matter is every thing God has promised man and every blessing He has for man He gave us in Jesus Christ. The problem is many have yet to receive the many blessings God has for us because they have yet to enter into Christ, and in Christ lies all the gifts from God.

Jesus said if we love Him and keep His commands, we are in Him and He is in us, as He is in the Father. He and His Father will love us and come and make their abode with us. So we are “in” the Father and Son in the same sense that they are “in” one another. We do not become all one individual, but we love one another and our relationship is so close that they are said to abide with us.  In the Old Testament examples, God placed His blessings in a place, and, in order to receive those blessings, people had to be in that location. They had to be in the house with the blood over the door for the death angel to spare them. Those inside the ark was saved, they had to be inside Rahab's the harlots house, and inside the city of refuge, to received the blessings God had for them. The New Testament however requires us to be “in Christ.” to receive God's blessings. Why should we want to be in Him? Why is it important to be in Him? As in the Old Testament examples, blessings are found in Christ that we can have if we are in Him but will miss if we are not in Him.

In Christ We are dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. The old man is crucified and the body of sin is done away. There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. John 15:6 — If anyone does not abide in Jesus, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. When people are not in Christ, they are still guilty of sin; their destiny is to be burned like worthless, dead branches. But when people are forgiven of sins, they come into Christ and no longer stand under condemnation. It is in Christ that we have everlasting life, for there is no salvation in any other, and  no other way man can be saved. Salvation is truly the greatest of all blessing given to us from God.
