Christ Like

John 13:15 " For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you."

"Lord I want to be a Christian in my heart", these precious word should be the cry of every true believer. We are called Christians, it is not just a name or a religion, it is truly a way of life. You must be born into this life, for Jesus said you must be born again. But what does it truly mean to be a Christian, to be Christ like, well Jesus is the example that we should follow.

Here we have Jesus with His disciples, His hour is now at hand and He begins to prepare them for His departure. Here they are at the last supper and He washes their feet. He tells them if He being the master wash their feet they should do unto others that which He has done unto them. He being the head took care of the feet and we to must be willing to follow Christ example and care for the needs of others. Even though His disciples would sell Him out, deny and abandon Him He still took the time to care for them. We must love in spite of just as Christ loved us. To be Christ like means to do as Christ instructs us to do without prejudice or respecter of person.

Christ is the example we are to follow, He said  If any man will follow me, let him take up his cross daily ,deny himself and follow me. Let us look at the world through the eyes of Christ and see lost souls in need of saving, hating the sin but caring for the sinner, following the example of Christ that all might be cleaned unto salvation.
