Harden Not Your Heart!

Ezekiel 47:11 "But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed;they shall be given to salt".

Here the prophet Ezekiel saw in a vision the flow of the life-giving river, and marked its wonderful and beneficial effects. The prophet also observed that here and there the river carried no blessing:there were marshes which remained as barren as ever. There are also some people whom due to a hard heart the gospel does not bless. They hear in vain, they learn but do not practice, and feel but do not decide. It is mingled with their corruption,as clear water with the mire of the marshes. They see with blinded eyes, understand with a carnal mind, and receive the truth but not the power of it.It becomes food for their sins, making them worse and worse,as the more it rains the more mud is produced. The more grace misused the more wicked the heart, bringing on a greater capacity for evil.

We know many like this, the person who talks alot and lives in sin, flooded with knowledge, but destitute of love. Those critics who only find faults with Christians and dwells on them ,but never notices anything wrong with themselves. Those who like to hear the gospel ,but never obey the word, full of religion but having no spiritual life.No person appears less likely to be saved than the religious unbelievers. They wear an armor of proof, you can't tell them nothing,as their heads are filled with religious knowledge;you can't touch their hearts, because they wear the breast-plate of self-righteousness.They accept every truth, and yet believe nothing, they attend every religious observance, yet have no religion. They are ever learning but never able to come to the truth and power of the word of God.

Let us be careful not to let the flow of the river of live land in the marshes of our life.Let us be doers of the word not just hearers only. Let us take the blessings of the gospel into the gleening fields and be a blessing to a lost soul.God saved you to save somebody.Let us not get so caught up in church business that we neglect the business of the church.Who is the most miserable man on earth, and where would you find him?Well it is not the bar,the theater, or even the cat house, but look in the church. That man who has sat, Sunday after Sunday under the call of the gospel, and has hardened his heart against the call,he is the man whose condition is the most desperate of all others."woe unto thee,Chorazin!woe unto thee , Bethsaida! and thou,Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell".The day you hear his voice Harden not your Hearts.

  2. Amen! Amen! This is so true...Glory Be To God. WE must remember that it's not about us, it is about Jesus Christ. What He has called us to do in His name. It should not be focus on us, but on Him sharing our Testimony of what He has done in our lives. We are [Saved Sinner] by Gods own Grace.I enjoyed this message. Agape!
